Avios PNF models typically come with the brushless motor, electronic speed controller (ESC), servos, and pushrods pre-installed from the factory. A compatible flight battery, a transmitter, and a receiver are required to complete the model.
For safety, first remove the propeller. Turn on your transmitter and place the throttle stick at the highest position. Connect the flight battery to the ESC, wait for two beeps, and quickly move the throttle to the lowest position.
Center of Gravity (CG) measurements vary by model. Usually, you support the plane inverted with your fingers underneath the top surface of the wing at the specific millimeter mark from the leading edge specified in your manual. Landing gear should generally be retracted during this test.
