This device is designed for accurate measurement of moisture content in various materials, primarily wood, as well as concrete, mortar, and brick. Its pin-type design allows for precise readings, while features like a backlit LCD, audible/visual alerts, data hold, and max/min value tracking enhance usability. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure correct usage and optimal performance.

3. פּראָדוקט איבערview
The Elitech MOT-270W is a compact and robust pin-type moisture meter. It features a clear LCD display, intuitive button controls, and a protective cap for the measurement pins.

4. סעטאַפּ
4.1 באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג
The Elitech MOT-270W requires one (1) AAA battery (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:
- געפינט דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל אויף דער הינטערשטער זייט פונעם אַפּאַראַט.
- שלעפּט אָדער נעמט אַראָפּ דעם דעקל צו עפֿענען דעם אָפּטייל.
- אַרײַנשטעלן איין AAA באַטעריע, און זיכער מאַכן אַז די ריכטיקע פּאָלאַריטעט (+/-) איז אָנגעוויזן אין דעם אָפּטייל.
- לייג צוריק דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל, און זאָרג אַז עס איז זיכער פֿאַרמאַכט.
4.2 ערשט מאַכט אויף
נאָך ינסטאָלינג די באַטאַרייע, דריקן די קנעפּל מאַכט button to turn on the device. The LCD display will illuminate, and the meter will perform a brief self-test before entering measurement mode.
5. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס
5.1 מעאַסורינג
- אַראָפּנעמען די פּראַטעקטיוו היטל פון די מעזשערמאַנט פּינס.
- Select the appropriate material mode (see Section 5.2).
- Firmly press the two measurement pins into the material you wish to test. Ensure both pins penetrate the surface to obtain an accurate reading.

- For materials where readings might fluctuate quickly, consider using the Data Hold or MAX/MIN functions (see Section 5.3).
- After measurement, carefully withdraw the pins and replace the protective cap.
5.2 Material Modes (Measurement Gears)
The MOT-270W features multiple measurement modes, sometimes referred to as "gears," to provide accurate readings for different materials. Press the M קנעפּל צו דורכגיין די בנימצא מאָדעס.

The modes are categorized as follows:

Select the mode that best matches the material you are testing for the most accurate results. If your specific wood type is not listed, choose the grade that corresponds to a similar density or common usage (e.g., Grade 3 is often suitable for many common woods).
5.3 דאַטן פונקציעס
5.3.1 דאַטאַ האַלטן פֿונקציע
The Data Hold function allows you to freeze the current measurement on the display, which is useful when taking readings in hard-to-reach areas or when the value is fluctuating.
- While taking a measurement, press the האַלטן button. The current reading will be held on the display.
- דרוק די האַלטן button again to release the hold and resume live measurement.

5.3.2 MAX/MIN Value Tracking
This function allows you to track the maximum and minimum moisture content detected during a measurement session.
- דרוק די שטעלן button to activate MAX/MIN mode. The display will show "MAX" or "MIN".
- As you take measurements, the display will update to show the highest (MAX) or lowest (MIN) value recorded.
- דרוק די שטעלן button again to switch between MAX and MIN display.
- To exit MAX/MIN mode, press and hold the שטעלן קנעפּל.

- פּראָבע באַהאַנדלונג: Keep the measurement pins clean and free of debris. Always replace the protective cap when not in use to prevent damage to the pins and accidental injury.
- סטאָרידזש: Store the meter in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.
- באַטערי פאַרבייַט: טוישט אויס די AAA באַטעריע ווען דער נידעריק באַטעריע אינדיקאַטאָר דערשיינט אויפן עקראַן צו ענשור גענויע מעסטונגען.
