3.1. Installing the iPad mini 6 / A17 Pro
- Locate the unlock button on the side of the cage.
- Press the unlock button to release the side clamp.
- Carefully slide your iPad mini 6 / A17 Pro into the cage. Ensure the iPad is seated correctly and the built-in rubber strips protect the device.
- Release the unlock button to secure the iPad firmly within the cage.

3.2. Attaching the Sun Hood
- Align the sun hood with the top edge of the cage.
- Secure the sun hood using the integrated Velcro straps or clips provided on the cage. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent accidental detachment.

4.1. Using the Adjustable Desktop Stand
The cage features a built-in adjustable stand for stable desktop use. To deploy the stand, simply pull out the integrated kickstand from the back of the cage. Adjust the angle as needed for optimal viewing or interaction. The stand is designed with non-slip silicone pads to ensure stability on various surfaces.

4.2. Utilizing Expansion Interfaces
The MD5058 cage is equipped with multiple expansion interfaces to integrate various accessories:
- 1/4''-20 and 3/8''-16 Threaded Holes: These standard mounting points allow for attachment of tripods, magic arms, monitors, and other photographic accessories.

4.3. Apple Pencil Storage
The cage includes a magnetic slot specifically designed for Apple Pencil storage. Simply place your Apple Pencil into the designated area on the side of the cage for secure and convenient access.

4.4. Compatibility with Handles
The MD5058 cage is compatible with various SMALLRIG handles, including the phone series quick release handles (ID: 4402B/4403) and ordinary handles (ID: 3838/3894). These handles can be attached to the NATO rail or other mounting points for improved ergonomics and stability during handheld operation.
