WARNING: This device is intended to detect carbon monoxide gas. It is not a substitute for proper maintenance of fuel-burning appliances, including ventilation systems, nor is it a substitute for visual inspection of such appliances. Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and non-irritating gas that can be fatal.

Familiarize yourself with the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning:

The HAKINAKU HD09 is a compact, multi-functional detector designed for portability and ease of use. It features a clear display and intuitive controls.

3.2 ווייַז עלעמענץ

The HD screen displays the following information:

• CO Concentration: Measured in Parts Per Million (PPM).
• הומידיטי: געוויזן ווי אַ פּראָצענטtage (%RH).
• טעמפּעראַטור: Displayed in Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).
• באַטערי מדרגה ינדיקאַטאָר: ווײַזט די פארבליבענע באַטאַרייע לעבן.
• Sound Status Indicator: Shows if the alarm sound is active or muted.

3.3 קאָנטראָל קנעפּלעך

• Power Button (Middle): Long press to power on/off. Short press to cycle through display modes or confirm settings.
• 'G' Button (Left): אַדזשאַסטירט די ברייטקייט פון דעם עקראַן.
• 'S' Button (Right): Toggles sound on/off. Also switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius for temperature display.

4. סעטאַפּ

4.1 ערשט טשאַרדזשינג

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the detector's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible power adapter (not included).

4.2 פּלאַצירונג אָפּציעס

The HD09 offers versatile placement options:

• קיקקסטאַנד: Fold out the integrated kickstand on the back to place the device on any flat surface.
• לאַנאַרד: Use the included lanyard to hang the device from a hook, backpack, or other suitable fixture.
• וואנט בארג: The back of the device includes a screw buckle hole for permanent wall mounting (screws not included).

5. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס

To power on the device, long press the middle Power Button until the screen illuminates. To power off, long press the Power Button again until the screen turns off.

5.2 Display Modes and Settings

• סקרין ברייטנאַס: Short press the 'G' button (left) to adjust the screen brightness.
• טעמפּעראַטור אַפּאַראַט: Short press the 'S' button (right) to switch the temperature display between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).
• געזונט קאָנטראָל: Long press the 'S' button (right) to toggle the alarm sound on or off. The sound status indicator on the display will change accordingly.

Once powered on, the device will immediately begin monitoring carbon monoxide levels, temperature, and humidity. Readings are updated in real-time on the HD screen.

To verify the CO detection function, expose the device to a small amount of carbon monoxide. A common method is to bring it close to a lit cigarette or burning paper that produces thick smoke. The CO concentration on the screen should increase, and the alarm should activate if levels exceed the threshold. Do not test with car exhaust or in overly airy places, as low CO concentrations may not trigger the sensor.

The HAKINAKU HD09 features an electrochemical sensor for accurate CO detection and an 85dB alarm to alert users to dangerous levels. The alarm behavior varies based on CO concentration:

7. Placement and Usage Scenarios

The portable design of the HD09 makes it suitable for various indoor and outdoor environments where carbon monoxide monitoring is crucial.

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquids enter the ventilation holes.

The power-saved mode automatically turns off the screen after 30 seconds, extending battery life up to 72 hours, while CO monitoring continues in the background.
