3. Distributed Gateway Functionality

The GoveeLife system utilizes a "Distributed Gateway" concept. GoveeLife dual-mode devices (sold separately) that support both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can act as gateways, extending the effective communication distance between your sensors and other smart devices.

  • Ensure the sensor is within the 55m/180ft Bluetooth range of a GoveeLife dual-mode device acting as a Distributed Gateway.
  • Restart the Govee Home App and try re-pairing the device.
