This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Reolink RLK8-500V4 5MP 8-Channel PoE Home Security Camera System. This system includes a Network Video Recorder (NVR) and four 5MP IK10 vandal-proof PoE cameras designed for wired outdoor use. Key features include a 130° ultra-wide-angle view, color night vision, smart AI detection, and two-way talk functionality.

The Reolink V500 cameras are designed for easy Power over Ethernet (PoE) installation, requiring only a single network cable for both power and data transmission. The cameras feature an IK10 vandal-proof rating and IP67 waterproof rating, making them suitable for outdoor environments.

3. אַראָפּנעמען דעם קופּאָל דעקל: Use the included hex key to loosen the screws and carefully remove the dome cover from the camera base.
4. Secure Camera Base: Align the camera base with the drilled holes and screw it securely to the mounting surface.
5. אַדזשאַסטירן לינז ווינקל: Manually adjust the camera lens to achieve the desired viewing angle and coverage. The camera features a built-in rotating bracket for flexible positioning.

3.2 NVR פֿאַרבינדונג

Connect the NVR to your cameras and a display for initial setup. The PoE technology simplifies wiring by delivering power and data through a single Ethernet cable.

4.3 Smart AI Detection and Two-Way Talk

The system features intelligent AI detection that accurately identifies human, vehicle, and animal movements, reducing false alarms. The integrated two-way talk function allows you to communicate directly with visitors or deter intruders using the camera's built-in speaker and microphone. Siren and spotlight warnings can also be activated.

Access your camera system remotely from anywhere using the Reolink app (available on App Store and Google Play) or client software. The system supports up to 20 simultaneous users for remote viewing.

• NVR פּלאַצירונג: Ensure the NVR is placed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture, to prevent overheating.

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Reolink security system.

• System not working with other camera brands: The Reolink RLK8-500V4 system is designed to work exclusively with Reolink PoE cameras to ensure full functionality and stable performance. Other brands or non-Reolink models are not supported.
• Internet connection required: An internet connection is only necessary for remote access features. Local recording and viewing will function even without an internet connection.
• Camera or NVR not working properly: First, check all cable connections, ensure they are secure, and try switching to different ports on the NVR. Confirm that the NVR and cameras are receiving power. If the issue persists, contact Reolink Support with your order information for further troubleshooting or potential replacement.
