This optically correct acrylic dome is designed to connect seamlessly with your SeaPal Waterproof Case, allowing you to capture stunning 50/50 split-level images and crystal-clear underwater photos and videos. It supports the ultra-wide lens on most recent smartphone models, expanding your creative possibilities in aquatic environments.

Whether you are surfing, snorkeling, freediving, or simply enjoying the pool, the SeaPal Dome helps you achieve professional-looking results directly from your smartphone.

Proper setup is crucial to ensure the waterproof integrity and optimal performance of your SeaPal Dome and Case. Always perform a dry test before submerging your device with a phone inside.

1. Initial Case Preparation and Smartphone Installation

Before installing your smartphone, ensure the SeaPal Waterproof Case is clean and free of debris. Remove any phone cases from your smartphone to ensure a correct fit within the SeaPal case. Refer to the bumper configuration diagrams provided with your SeaPal Waterproof Case to select and install the appropriate bumper pieces for your specific phone model. These bumpers secure your phone in place and align its camera with the lens port.

Place your smartphone into the SeaPal case with its camera lens aligned with the case's lens port. Close the rear membrane of the case and secure the latch by rotating it into the locking position until you hear an audible click. Verify the latch is securely fastened by hand.

2. Attaching the SeaPal 6" Dome

The SeaPal 6" Dome attaches to the front of your SeaPal Waterproof Case using a bayonet locking system. No tools are required for this step.

1. Align the mounting tabs on the SeaPal 6" Dome with the corresponding slots on the front lens port of your SeaPal Waterproof Case.
2. Gently push the dome onto the case.
3. Twist the dome clockwise until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached and there is no play.

3. Pairing the Bluetooth Shutter Grip (Optional Accessory)

If you are using the optional Bluetooth Shutter Grip, follow these steps to set it up:

1. Secure the shutter grip to the base of the SeaPal case using the supplied mounting screws. Ensure the red shutter button faces the same direction as the lens.
2. Long press the shutter button on the grip until you see a green light flashing.
3. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and connect to the 'Joby Shutter Grip'.
4. Once connected, the shutter button will activate your phone's camera to take photos or start/stop video recording when in video mode.

With your smartphone securely installed in the SeaPal Waterproof Case and the 6" Dome attached, you are ready to capture stunning aquatic content.

1. 50/50 Above and Underwater Shooting

The 6" Dome is specifically designed to move the waterline away from your smartphone's lens, allowing for simultaneous capture of both above and below the water's surface. To achieve the best 50/50 shots, hold the dome half-submerged in calm water. Experiment with different angles and lighting conditions for optimal results.

2. Underwater Photography and Videography

Submerge the entire SeaPal Dome and Case for full underwater capture. The optically correct dome ensures clear images without distortion. The touch-sensitive rear membrane allows full access to your phone's camera controls, enabling you to switch modes, adjust settings, and review content while underwater.

3. Ultra-Wide Lens Compatibility

The SeaPal Dome supports the ultra-wide lens on most recent iPhone 12/13/14/15 and Samsung Galaxy S22/23 models. This allows for expansive underwater scenes. Note that a slight vignette might occur when using the ultra-wide lens on certain phones; zooming in slightly can remove this effect.

To ensure the longevity and performance of your SeaPal 6" Dome and Waterproof Case, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• רייניקונג: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the dome and case thoroughly with fresh water. Allow them to air dry completely before storage.

• Unresponsive Touchscreen Underwater: While the SeaPal case is designed for touchscreen functionality underwater, water pressure and certain phone settings can sometimes affect responsiveness. Ensure your phone's screen is clean and dry before sealing the case. If issues persist, try using the Bluetooth Shutter Grip for reliable photo/video capture.
