1. Insert the crimped RJ45 connector into the RJ45 port on the host unit.
2. Activate the QC test mode (refer to device specific button if available, otherwise it's part of the standard test).
3. The tester will indicate if the crimp is correct (e.g., all 8 lights on) or if there's an error (e.g., specific lights off, indicating a non-crimped wire or wrong order).

4.3 POE (Power over Ethernet) Testing

The NF-468CS can test the power supply status of POE switches and powered devices.

1. Connect the network cable from the POE source (e.g., POE switch) to the RJ45 port on the host unit.
2. The tester will automatically detect the POE power supply type and status.
