All wiring should be done with the vehicle's battery disconnected. Use high-quality wiring of appropriate gauge to minimize power loss and ensure safe operation.
מאַכט קאַנעקשאַנז
- GND (ערד): Connect to a clean, solid metal point on the vehicle chassis. Ensure the connection is free of paint or rust.
- REM (ווייט-אינסטאלירן): Connect to the remote output of your head unit. This wire turns the amplifier on and off with your stereo.
- +12V (מאַכט): Connect directly to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. An inline fuse holder with the correct amperage rating (not provided, consult specifications for recommended fuse size) must be installed within 18 inches of the battery.

The G1000.4D supports both low-level (RCA) and high-level inputs.

אַמאָל די amplifier is properly installed and wired, you can begin adjusting its settings for optimal sound performance.
געווינען אַדזשאַסטמאַנט
The GAIN control matches the output of your head unit to the input sensitivity of the amplifier. Start with the gain at minimum. Play a familiar piece of music at about 75% of your head unit's maximum volume. Slowly increase the amplifier's gain until you hear distortion, then back off slightly. The CLIP indicator light can assist in this process, illuminating when the signal is clipping.

The G1000.4D features adjustable High Pass Filter (HPF) and Low Pass Filter (LPF) for each channel pair (CH1/CH2 and CH3/CH4).
- HPF (High Pass Filter): Allows frequencies above the set point to pass through. Use for full-range speakers to prevent low bass frequencies from distorting them.
