The MFSTUDIO Smoker Grill requires assembly. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the packaging for proper setup. Ensure all components are securely fastened before first use.

2.2 First Use / Seasoning

Before cooking food, it is recommended to season your grill. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to all interior surfaces and grates. Light a small fire in the firebox and maintain a low temperature (around 250-300°F or 120-150°C) for 1-2 hours. This process burns off manufacturing residues and seasons the metal, preventing rust and enhancing flavor.

3.2 Offset Smoking

For indirect cooking and smoking, build a fire in the side firebox. The heat and smoke will flow into the main cooking chamber, circulating around your food. Use wood chips or chunks in the firebox to impart smoky flavor. Monitor the temperature using the lid thermometer and adjust the air vents on the side firebox and the chimney damper to maintain desired smoking temperatures.
