Thank you for choosing the GE Energy Star Portable Dehumidifier. This manual provides important information for the proper operation and maintenance of your dehumidifier. Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference.

Proper placement and initial setup are crucial for the efficient operation of your dehumidifier.

- קאָנטינויִערלעכע דריינאַדזש: For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the convenient dehumidifier external garden hose connection. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

1. Control Panel Features

2. Recommended Humidity Levels
For optimal comfort and to prevent mold growth, maintain indoor humidity levels between 40% and 50%.

- The unit works best with a clean filter.
- The filter should be checked and cleaned at least every 250 hours of operation, or more frequently depending on air quality.
- To clean, easily remove the filter from the unit. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry completely before re-installing.

- When the "Empty Bucket" alarm sounds, carefully pull out the water bucket.
- Dispose of the collected water.
- Re-insert the bucket firmly until it clicks into place.
