1. הקדמה

The DYMO LabelManager 160 is a portable label maker designed for fast and simple label creation. It features a computer-style QWERTY keyboard for easy text input, one-touch smart keys for quick formatting, and a large display for clear viewing. It supports over 20 text formats and more than 200 symbols and clip-art options for customized labels. An automatic power-off function is included to conserve battery life when the device is not in use.

3. סעטאַפּ

3.1. באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג

The LabelManager 160 requires three (3) AA batteries for operation. To install the batteries:

1. געפינט דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל אויף דער הינטערשטער זייט פונעם אַפּאַראַט.
2. דריק אַראָפּ אויף דעם לאַטש און שלעפּ אַראָפּ דעם דעקל.
3. Insert three AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

3.2. Label Cassette Installation

To install a D1 label cassette:

1. Open the label cassette compartment cover located on the back of the label maker.
2. Insert the label cassette with the label side facing up, ensuring it clicks firmly into place.

4.2. Typing and Editing Text

Use the QWERTY keyboard to type your desired label text. The large display shows the text as you type. Use the arrow keys to navigate and edit text. The באַקקספּאַסע שליסל (↵) removes characters.

4.3. Formatting Labels

The LabelManager 160 offers various formatting options through one-touch smart keys:

• Size (AA): Adjust text size.
• Bold (B): Apply bold formatting.
• Italic (I): Apply italic formatting.
• Underline/Box (U): Add underline or box borders.
• Symbols/Clip-Art (ABC): Access a library of over 200 symbols and clip-art.

4.4. פּרינטינג לאַבעלס

Once your label text is entered and formatted, press the דרוק קנעפּל (printer icon) to print the label. The device will feed the label out, and you can use the integrated cutter on the side to cut the label.

5. D1 Label Features

The DYMO LabelManager 160 is designed for use with authentic DYMO D1 label tapes. These tapes offer several features for durable and versatile labeling:

To ensure optimal performance, periodically clean the print head and cutter blade. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.2. Replacing Label Cassettes

When a label cassette is empty or you wish to change label types, follow the cassette installation steps in Section 3.2 to remove the old cassette and insert a new one.
