4. סעטאַפּ
4.1 אַנפּאַקינג
Carefully remove the multimeter and its accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present:
- C-LOGIC 520 דיגיטאַל מולטימעטער

- באַניצער מאַנואַל (דעם דאָקומענט)
- 9V Battery (if included, otherwise purchase separately)
4.2 באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג
The C-LOGIC 520 Digital Multimeter requires a 9V battery for operation. To install or replace the battery:
- Ensure the multimeter is turned OFF.

4.3 פֿאַרבינדן טעסט דראָטן
Always connect the black test lead to the "COM" (Common) input jack. Connect the red test lead to the appropriate input jack based on the measurement you intend to perform:
- VΩmA: פֿאַר וואָלtage, Resistance, Diode, Continuity, and small Current (mA) measurements.
- 10א: For high DC Current (up to 10A) measurements.

Before taking any measurement, ensure the multimeter is set to the correct function and range. Incorrect settings can damage the device or the circuit being tested.

5.2 Measuring DC Current (Ampאַרויסרופן)
CAUTION: Never connect the multimeter in parallel to a voltage source when measuring current. Always connect in series with the load.

- For currents up to 200mA, connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack. For currents up to 10A, connect the red test lead to the "10A" jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the appropriate DCA (A-) range (e.g., 200mA, 10A).

CAUTION: Ensure the circuit is de-energized before measuring resistance. Do not measure resistance on live circuits.

5.4 קאָנטינויטי טעסט
- פֿאַרבינדט דעם שוואַרצן טעסט־דראָט צום "COM" דזשעק און דעם רויטן טעסט־דראָט צום "VΩmA" דזשעק.
- Turn the rotary switch to the continuity (•))) position.
- Touch the test probes to the two points of the circuit you want to test for continuity.
- An audible beep indicates continuity (low resistance). The display will show the resistance value.
5.5 דייאָוד טעסט

- Turn the rotary switch to the diode (►|) position.

5.6 Battery Test (1.5V, 9V, 12V)
- פֿאַרבינדט דעם שוואַרצן טעסט־דראָט צום "COM" דזשעק און דעם רויטן טעסט־דראָט צום "VΩmA" דזשעק.
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired battery test range (1.5V, 9V, or 12V).
- Connect the red probe to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black probe to the negative (-) terminal.

Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live readings.

6.1 רייניקונג
To clean the multimeter, use a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasives, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Ensure the device is completely dry before use or storage.
6.2 באַטערי פאַרבייַט
When the low battery indicator (LBD) appears on the display, it is time to replace the 9V battery. Follow the steps outlined in the "Battery Installation" section (4.2) under Setup.

The multimeter is protected by internal fuses, typically for the current measurement ranges. If the current measurement function stops working, the fuse may need replacement. Refer to the specifications section (7.0) for fuse ratings. Fuse replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel.
WARNING: Disconnect test leads from all circuits and turn off the multimeter before opening the case for fuse replacement to avoid electric shock.
