1. Inserting SIM Card and Battery
Before using your phone, you need to insert the SIM card(s) and the battery.

- Locate the SIM card slot(s). Insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Insert the battery into the battery compartment, aligning the gold contacts on the battery with those in the phone.
- Replace the back cover, pressing gently until it snaps securely into place.

To power on your TT240, press and hold the מאַכט/ענדיקן רוף button until the screen illuminates and the TTfone logo appears. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection.

For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use. Connect the USB cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to the provided mains charger head. Plug the charger into a wall outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.

The TT240 features a traditional keypad for navigation and input:
- נאַוויגאַציע שליסלען: Use the directional keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) around the central OK button to move through menus and options.

- סאָפט קיז: The two keys directly below the screen (left and right) are context-sensitive. Their function changes depending on what is displayed on the screen above them.

- ענדיגן רוף/מאכט קנעפל: Press to end a call or return to the home screen. Long press to power the phone on/off.
- נומעריק קיפּאַד: Used for dialing numbers and text input.

- צו מאַכן אַ רוף: From the home screen, dial the number using the keypad and press the רוף / ענטפֿערן key. To call a contact, navigate to 'Contacts', select the desired contact, and press the רוף / ענטפֿערן שליסל.

- צו ענדיקן אַ רוף: דרוק די End Call/Power שליסל.

- From the main menu, select 'Messages'.
- Choose 'New Message' or 'Compose'.
