5. אויפשטעלן און אינסטאַלירן
Before beginning installation, ensure the power to the low-voltage transformer is turned off. An external 12-24V AC/DC low voltage transformer is required and not included with this product.
5.1. וויירינג קאַנעקשאַנז
Connect the wires from the hardscape lights to your low-voltage landscape wiring using the provided waterproof wire connectors. Ensure a secure and watertight connection for optimal performance and safety.
5.2. וואָסtage סעלעקציע
These lights feature a selectable wattage setting (3W, 4W, 5W) to adjust brightness. This selection is typically made during installation. Refer to the product for the specific switch or mechanism to change the wattage.
5.3. מאַונטינג אָפּציעס
The lights offer two primary installation methods:
- רעסעססעד מאַונטינג: For new construction or when installing under capstones of retaining walls. The light fixture is secured using the stainless steel mounting plate, which is then integrated into the wall structure.
- ייבערפלאַך מאַונטינג: For existing structures, including wooden deck steps or finished hardscapes. The detachable aluminum light bar allows for surface mounting without damaging the existing wall or step.
5.4. Rotatable Feature
The light fixture can be rotated up to 180 degrees (for non-surface mounting) to direct the light beam as desired, providing flexible illumination. This feature helps in achieving a glare-free lighting effect.

Once properly installed and connected to a compatible low-voltage transformer, the lights will operate according to the transformer's settings (e.g., timer, photocell). These lights are dimmable when used with a compatible low-voltage dimmer (not included).
