This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp SPC569 Desktop Dual Alarm Clock. This clock features atomic time synchronization, a vibrant color display, dual alarm settings, and a calendar display. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and to maximize the clock's functionality.

סעטאַפּ

1. מאַכט קאַנעקשאַן

1. Connect the provided AC adapter to the clock's power input jack.
2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

For uninterrupted alarm function and to retain time/alarm settings during power interruptions, install backup batteries.

1. Locate the battery backup compartment on the rear of the clock.

3. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

Note: During battery backup operation, the clock's display will not be lit to conserve power. Settings are maintained, and the alarm will still sound. The display will re-light once AC power is restored.

Atomic Time Synchronization

The clock automatically attempts to synchronize with the WWVB atomic time signal. This process may take up to 3 days to establish a strong signal. For best reception, place the clock near a window.

• During the atomic signal search, the screen may temporarily go dark. It will re-illuminate once the signal is located and time is set.
• The atomic clock will automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time (DST) if the DST setting is enabled.

Setting Time Zone and DST

Use the buttons on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3).

1. דרוק די צייַט זאָנע button repeatedly to cycle through available time zones (e.g., PST, MST, CST, EST).
2. דרוק די DST button to toggle Daylight Saving Time ON or OFF.

If atomic synchronization is not desired or unavailable, you can set the time and calendar manually.

2. ניצן די + or - קנעפּלעך צו סטרויערן די שעה. דריק צייט שטעלן נאכאמאל צו באשטעטיגן און אריבערגיין צו מינוטן.
3. סטרויערן מינוט מיט + or -. דרוק צייט שטעלן צו באַשטעטיקן.
4. Repeat this process for setting the year, month, and day using the קאַלענדאַר button to cycle through settings and + or - צו סטרויערן וואַלועס.
5. דרוק די 12/24 WAVE קנעפּל צו באַשטימען צווישן 12-שעה און 24-שעה צייט פֿאָרמאַטן.

שטעלן צווייענדיקע אַלאַרמס

The clock features two independent alarms, Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.

1. דריקן און האַלטן די שרעק 1 שטעלן קנעפּל ביז די אַלאַרם צייט בלינקט.
2. ניצן די + or - קנעפּלעך צו סטרויערן די אַלאַרם שעה. דריק שרעק 1 שטעלן נאכאמאל צו באשטעטיגן און אריבערגיין צו מינוטן.
3. סטרויערן מינוט מיט + or -. דרוק שרעק 1 שטעלן צו באַשטעטיקן.
4. To activate or deactivate Alarm 1, press the שרעק 1 button. An "ALARM 1 ON" indicator will appear or disappear on the display (refer to Figure 4).
5. איבערחזרן טריט 1-4 פֿאַר שרעק 2 שטעלן און שרעק 2 buttons to set the second alarm.

Snooze and Dimmer Function

די גרויס SNOOZE / DIMMER button on top of the clock serves two functions:

• סנוז: When an alarm sounds, press this button to temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes (default snooze duration). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
• דיממער: When the alarm is not sounding, press this button repeatedly to cycle through different display brightness levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
