Before installation, ensure the installation site meets the following requirements:
- Adequate ventilation to prevent overheating.
- Stable power source with proper grounding.

- Alternatively, connect a console cable (RJ-45 to DB-9) from your workstation's serial port to the console port on the switch for command-line interface (CLI) access.
- Configure your workstation's serial port settings: 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control.
