3.1 Router Table Compatibility

This Rockler Pro Lift Router Lift features a 9-1/4'' x 11-3/4'' plate. It is designed to fit router tables compatible with this plate size, including many Kreg, Jessum, Woodpecker, and Peachtree tables. Verify your router table's opening dimensions before installation.

3.2 Router Motor Compatibility

The router lift is compatible with router motors that have a 4.2'' diameter (approximately 13.85'' circumference), such as the Porter-Cable 7518 and 7519. For other router sizes, optional adapter collars (e.g., 3-1/4'' Pro Lift Adapter Collar & 3-1/2'' Pro Lift Adapter Collar) are available separately from Rockler.

3.3 Mounting the Router Lift

  1. Carefully lower the router lift assembly into the opening of your router table.
  2. Align the mounting holes on the router plate with the corresponding holes on your router table.
  3. Secure the router lift to the table using appropriate fasteners (typically screws, not included with the lift itself, but with the table). Use the provided hex keys if necessary for any adjustments during mounting.

4.1 Adjusting Router Bit Height

The Rockler Pro Lift Router Lift offers two methods for height adjustment:

  • Quick-Gear Adjustment: For rapid raising or lowering of the router bit, use the Quick-Gear mechanism. This allows for quick bit changes or large height adjustments.

4.2 Changing Router Bits

The Snap-Lock insert ring system facilitates easy and tool-free router bit changes:

  1. Raise the router bit fully using the Quick-Gear.
  2. Press the button on the router plate to release the Snap-Lock insert ring.
  3. Remove the insert ring to access the router collet.
  4. Change the router bit as required.
  5. Replace the insert ring and ensure it snaps securely into place.

4.3 Anti-Backlash Mechanism
