Follow these steps to set up your security wire lock:

1. Identify the NanoSaver (2.5x6mm) security slot on your laptop or tablet.
2. Loop the wire around a sturdy, immovable object such as a desk leg or heavy furniture.
3. Insert the lock head into the security slot on your device.
4. Insert one of the provided keys into the cylinder lock and turn it to secure the lock head in place. Remove the key.

To lock and unlock your device:

• צו שלאָס: Ensure the lock head is fully inserted into the security slot. Insert a key and turn it clockwise until the lock mechanism engages. Remove the key.
• צו ופשליסן: Insert the correct key into the cylinder lock and turn it counter-clockwise. The lock head will release from the security slot.

טראָובלעשאָאָטינג עצה: If the lock feels stiff or difficult to operate, adjust the insertion angle or method of the lock blade and press the lock button firmly. Do not force the key or lock mechanism.

To ensure the longevity and proper function of your security wire lock:

• Keep the keys in a safe and memorable location. Consider having a backup key stored separately.
• Avoid exposing the lock mechanism to excessive dust, dirt, or moisture.
• Do not apply excessive force when inserting or removing the key, or when engaging/disengaging the lock.
• The wire is coated with soft PVC to prevent scratches. Avoid sharp objects that could damage this coating.

If you encounter issues with your security wire lock, refer to the following:

• Lock is stiff or difficult to engage/disengage: Try changing the insertion angle or method of the lock blade into the security slot. Press the lock button firmly. Ensure the security slot on your device is clean and free of obstructions.
• Key does not turn: Ensure you are using the correct key for this lock. Do not force the key. Check for any foreign objects in the keyhole.
• Lock head does not fit into the security slot: Verify that your device has a NanoSaver (2.5x6mm) security slot. This lock is specifically designed for this slot type.
