The VDO M3.1 WL uses a Lithium battery. If not pre-installed, open the battery compartment on the rear of the computer unit using a small coin or screwdriver. Insert the battery with the correct polarity, then securely close the compartment.

3. Mounting the Computer Unit

Attach the handlebar mount to your bicycle's handlebar using the provided cable ties. Ensure the mount is securely fastened and positioned for easy viewing during your ride. Slide the VDO M3.1 WL computer unit onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.

4. Mounting the Speed Sensor and Magnet

Mount the speed sensor to the front fork of your bicycle using the provided cable ties. Position the sensor so that it aligns with the wheel magnet. Attach the wheel magnet to a spoke on your front wheel. Ensure the magnet passes within 5mm of the sensor as the wheel rotates.
