1. הקדמה
This manual provides instructions for the AT&T EL50003 Accessory Handset. This handset is designed to expand your existing AT&T cordless telephone system, offering additional convenience and functionality. It requires a compatible AT&T base unit to operate.
Compatible base units include models: EL52103, EL52203, EL52253, EL52303, EL52353, EL52403, and EL52503.

3. ערשט סעטאַפּ
3.1. באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג
- געפינט דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל אויף דער הינטערשטער זייט פונעם הענדסעט.
- רוקט דעם דעקל אַראָפּ צו עס אַראָפּנעמען.
- Connect the battery connector securely into the jack inside the compartment.
- Place the battery into the compartment with the label facing up.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks.
3.2. טשאַרדזשינג די כאַנדסעט
Before initial use, charge the handset for at least 10 hours. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.
- Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the power jack on the back of the handset charger.

- Place the handset face up in the charger cradle. The אָפּצאָל indicator light on the handset will illuminate, confirming it is charging.

3.3. רעגיסטרירן דעם האַנדסעט
The accessory handset must be registered to your AT&T cordless telephone base unit before use. Refer to your base unit's user manual for specific registration instructions, as procedures may vary slightly between models. A common registration process involves:
- Place the accessory handset in the base unit's charger or directly on the base unit.
- דריקן און האַלטן די PAGE or האַנדסעט לאָקאַטאָר button on the base unit for approximately 4 seconds. The base unit will enter registration mode.
- On the accessory handset, press the # key. The handset will display "Registering..." or a similar message.
- Once registered, the handset will display "Handset X Registered" (where X is the handset number) and emit a confirmation tone. If registration fails, try again.
4. Operating the Handset

ווען דער טעלעפאָן קלינגט, דריק די טעלעפאָנירן / פלאַש button (green phone icon) or רעדנער צו ענטפֿערן דעם רוף.
4.3. אַדזשאַסטינג באַנד
דריקן די בעשאַס אַ רוף באַנד up or down buttons on the side of the handset to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume.
4.4. ספּיקערז
דרוק די רעדנער קנעפּל צו אַקטיווירן אָדער דעאַקטיווירן די רעדנערפאָון פונקציע בעת אַ רוף.
4.5. רעדיאַל
דרוק אָפּלייקענונג צו view the last numbers dialed. Press the טעלעפאָנירן / פלאַש button (green phone icon) to call the displayed number.
4.6. שטום
בעשאַס אַ רופן, דריקן שטום to temporarily silence your microphone. Press שטום ווידער צו אָנמאַכן.
4.7. Intercom (INT)
If you have multiple registered handsets, press INT to initiate an intercom call to another handset.
4.8. מעניו נאַוויגאַציע
ניצן די סעלעקטירן/מעניו button and the navigation arrows (up/down on the volume rocker) to access and navigate through the handset's menu options for settings and features.

5.1. Cleaning the Handset
Wipe the handset and charger with a soft, slightly damp טוך. ניצט נישט רייניקונג שפרייען אדער שארף כעמיקאלן, ווייל די קענען שאדן מאכן דעם ענדיקונג אדער די עלעקטראנישע קאמפאנענטן.
5.2. באַטערי קער
For optimal battery life, keep the handset in the charger when not in use. If the handset will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
