1. פּאַוערינג די מיטל
Your COBY CX-CD540 can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter.

- Locate the DC IN 4.5V jack on the side of the player.

2. Inserting a CD

- פֿאַרמאַכט דעם דעקל פֿון דעם סי-די אָפּטייל פֿעסט ביז עס פֿאַרשליסט זיך.
Caution: Do not force the lid open or closed. Ensure the CD is properly seated to prevent damage.

אַפּערייטינג ינסטראַקשאַנז
1. גרונטלעכע ווידערשפּיל
- Connect headphones to the HEADPHONE jack.
- Insert a CD as described in the Setup section.
- דרוק די שפּילן/פּויזע (►/‖) button to begin playback. The LCD display will show the track number and elapsed time.

3. Programming Tracks
איר קענט פּראָגראַמירן ביז 20 טראַקס צו שפּילן אין אַ ספּעציפֿישער סדר.
- אין STOP מאָדע, דריק די PROG button. "PROG" will flash on the LCD.
- ניצן די SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ►►) קנעפּלעך צו אויסקלײַבן דעם ערשטן ליד וואָס איר ווילט פּראָגראַמירן.
- דרוק PROG again to confirm the selection. The display will show the next program number.
- איבערחזרן טריט 2 און 3 צו לייגן מער לידער צו אייער פּראָגראַם.
- Once all desired tracks are programmed, press the שפּילן/פּויזע (►/‖) button to start playback of your programmed sequence.
To clear the program, open the CD lid or press the שטאָפּ (■) קנעפּל צוויי מאָל.
4. Anti-Skip Protection
The COBY CX-CD540 features a 60-second anti-skip protection system. This system stores audio data in a buffer memory to prevent interruptions during minor shocks or vibrations. If the player experiences a significant shock, the buffer may empty, causing a brief skip until it refills.
