To count a stack of sorted banknotes:
- Ensure the banknotes are neatly stacked and free from folds or tears.
- Place the stack of banknotes into the hopper.
- The machine will automatically begin counting or you may need to press the 'Start' button depending on the selected mode.
- The display will show the total number of notes counted.
4.2 Mixed Denomination Counting (Euro)

The 2465-S can count unsorted Euro banknotes and provide a total value.
- Place a stack of unsorted Euro banknotes into the hopper.
- The machine will automatically count the number of notes and calculate the total value, displaying the breakdown by denomination.

The Safescan 2465-S employs a 7-point detection system to identify counterfeit banknotes. This includes:

- MG (Magnetic) ink detection
