4.2 Track Placement

Place the locomotive gently onto a clean H0 scale track. Ensure all wheels are correctly seated on the rails.

4.3 Power Connection (DC Operation)

For analog DC operation, connect your DC power pack to the track as per the power pack's instructions. Ensure the power pack is set to DC output.

4.4 Digital Decoder (DCC Operation)

The Roco 73729 is equipped with a DCC digital decoder and a PluX22 electrical interface. For digital operation, connect your DCC command station to the track. The locomotive should be automatically recognized or can be addressed using its default DCC address (typically 3).
