The Fein KBB60 is a robust and powerful metal core drilling unit designed for professional use, featuring a 1400 Watt motor, two-speed gearbox, and a strong magnetic holding power of 11000 Newton for secure attachment to ferromagnetic materials.

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves when operating the drilling unit. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped and the magnetic base has full contact with a clean, flat, ferromagnetic surface before starting. Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or changing accessories.

- Attaching the Carry Handle: Secure the extra carry handle to the designated mounting points on the unit for easier transport.
- Mounting the Coolant Tank: Attach the integrated coolant tank to the unit. Ensure it is securely fastened and fill it with appropriate cutting fluid.
- Installing the Core Drill Bit:

- Insert the centering pin into the core drill bit.
- Insert the core drill bit with the centering pin into the Weldon holder.
- Tighten the set screws on the Weldon holder firmly using the provided 5mm socket head wrench to secure the drill bit.
- אָרט די אַפּאַראַט: Place the magnetic foot on a clean, flat, ferromagnetic surface. Ensure full contact for maximum magnetic holding power (11000 Newton). Activate the magnetic base switch.

- סעלעקטינג גיכקייַט: The unit features a mechanical 2-speed gearbox. Select the appropriate speed (330 rpm for 1st gear, 660 rpm for 2nd gear) based on the material and drill bit diameter. Lower speeds are generally for larger diameters and harder materials.
- אַקטיווירן דעם מאַגנעט: Ensure the magnetic base is firmly engaged with the workpiece before starting the motor. The magnetic holding power is 11000 Newton.
- סטאַרטינג די מאָטאָר: Turn on the motor using the power switch. Allow the motor to reach full speed before engaging the drill bit with the workpiece.
- דרילינג: Use the feed hand wheel to slowly lower the drill bit into the workpiece. Apply steady, even pressure. The feed hand wheel can be moved from one side to the other for user convenience.

- Monitoring Drilling Depth: The extra-long drill shaft allows for a cutting depth of up to 75mm. Monitor the depth to avoid over-drilling.
