4. אויפשטעלן: באַטעריע אינסטאַלאַציע

The MS8211D requires two 1.5V AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included in the package.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the multimeter.
  2. Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the screw securing the battery cover.
  3. Lift off the battery compartment cover.
  4. Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

5. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס

Before operation, ensure the test leads are properly connected and the function dial is set to the desired measurement mode.

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "V~" (AC Voltagה) אדער "V=" (גלייכשטראָם באַנדtagה) שטעלע.
  2. Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.

5.2. AC/DC Current Measurement (mA~) / (mA=)

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "mA~" (AC Current) or "mA=" (DC Current) position.
  2. Connect the red test lead to the "mA" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
  3. וואָרענען: To measure current, the multimeter must be connected in series with the circuit. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the multimeter.
  4. Break the circuit and insert the multimeter in series.
  5. Re-energize the circuit and read the current value on the display.

  2. Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
  3. Ensure the circuit or component to be measured is de-energized.

5.4. Logic Level Test

This function allows for quick testing of digital logic levels.

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "LOGIC" position.
  2. Connect the black test lead to the "COM" input jack. The red test lead is integrated into the pen tip.
  3. Touch the pen tip to the point on the circuit where the logic level is to be tested.
  4. The display will indicate:

5.5. Diode Check (→|)

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "→|" (Diode) position.
  2. Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.

5.6. Continuity Test (•)))

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the "•)))" (Continuity) position.
  2. Connect the red test lead to the "V" input jack and the black test lead to the "COM" input jack.
  3. Touch the test probes to the two points of the circuit or component to be tested.
  4. If continuity exists (resistance below a certain threshold), the multimeter will emit an audible beep and display a low resistance value. An "OL" (Open Loop) indicates no continuity.

Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live measurements.

5.8. Maximum Value Hold (MAX H)

Press the "MAX H" button to activate the maximum value hold function. The multimeter will continuously monitor and display the highest value measured since the function was activated. Press it again to exit this mode.

To conserve battery life, the MS8211D is equipped with an auto power-off feature. If no operation is performed for approximately 15 minutes, the multimeter will automatically shut down. To reactivate, turn the rotary switch to the "OFF" position and then back to the desired measurement function.
