Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your DXT2 mouse. The integrated lithium-ion battery provides excellent battery life, and a rapid charge system allows for quick power-ups.
- Locate the charging port on the mouse (typically at the base).
- Connect the provided charging cable to the mouse and a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the mouse's base for the charging port and indicator.

2. Connecting the RF Wireless Dongle
The DXT2 mouse connects wirelessly via a compact RF USB dongle.
- Insert the compact RF USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
- The mouse should automatically pair with the dongle. If not, ensure the mouse is powered on.
- Your computer's operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. No additional software installation is typically required.

Holding the Mouse (Precision Grip)
The DXT2 mouse is designed to be held with a light fingertip grip, which engages the small muscles and joints of the fingers for precise cursor control, unlike traditional mice that rely on larger muscle groups.

The DXT2 mouse features standard mouse buttons and a scroll wheel:

- Press this button to toggle the mouse's orientation between left-handed and right-handed modes. The LED indicators (L or R) on the base will illuminate to show the current mode.
- No changes to button assignments in the operating system are required.

The DXT2 mouse offers multiple DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity levels, allowing you to adjust cursor speed and precision to your preference.
- The DPI adjustment button is located on the bottom of the mouse.
- Press this button to cycle through the available DPI settings: 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000 DPI.
- Observe the cursor speed on your screen to select the most comfortable setting.
