1. באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג
The VideoMic requires a standard 9V battery (not included) for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the microphone unit. Open the compartment and insert the 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely. The low battery LED indicator will illuminate when the battery level is low, signaling it's time for replacement.
2. מאָנטירן דעם מיקראָפאָן
The VideoMic is designed to attach to any camcorder or DSLR with a standard camera-shoe fitting. Slide the microphone's integrated mount onto your camera's hot shoe or cold shoe. Secure the microphone in place by tightening the locking wheel or mechanism on the mount.

אַפּערייטינג ינסטראַקשאַנז
1. פּאָווערינג אויף / אויסגעלאשן
Locate the power switch on the microphone unit. Slide it to the 'ON' position to activate the microphone. A green LED indicator will confirm it is powered on. Remember to switch it 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery life.
2. הויך-פּאַס פילטער (HPF)
The VideoMic features a two-step high-pass filter (HPF) with 'flat' and '80 Hz' settings. The 'flat' setting captures the full frequency range. The '80 Hz' setting reduces low-frequency noise such as rumble from air conditioners, traffic, or wind, which can be beneficial in noisy environments. Select the appropriate setting based on your recording conditions.
3. לעוועל קאָנטראָל
The microphone includes a two-stage level control. Adjust this control to optimize the audio input level for your camera, preventing distortion when recording loud sound sources. Refer to your camera's audio meters to set an appropriate recording level, typically aiming for peaks around -6dB to -3dB.
4. Using the Windscreen
For outdoor recording or in windy conditions, attach the included foam windscreen over the microphone capsule. This significantly reduces wind noise, improving audio clarity and preventing unwanted artifacts in your recordings.
וישאַלט
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Rode VideoMic, keep it clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Store the microphone in a protective case or bag when not in use to prevent physical damage. Regularly check the Rycote Lyre shock mount for any signs of wear and tear, as these are crucial for vibration isolation. Replace the 9V battery as soon as the low battery indicator illuminates to avoid interruption during recording sessions.
טראָובלעשאָאָטינג
- קיין אַודיאָ:
- Ensure the microphone is powered on (green LED should be lit).
