2. Pairing with Dish Network Receiver (IR Mode)

The 20.1 remote is designed to control Dish Network receivers in IR mode. For newer receivers like the Hopper and Joey, which may have originally shipped with a UHF remote, you might need to configure the receiver to accept IR commands. 3. Programming for Television Control

To control your television's power, volume, and input functions, you will need to program the remote with your TV's code.
