• Do not expose the chime unit or push button to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
• Use only the specified battery types. Incorrect battery types may cause damage or explosion.

4.1. Portable Chime Unit Features

• High Quality Speaker: For clear sound output.
• 8 Melodies: Select from a variety of chime sounds.

5.1. Installing Batteries in the Chime Unit

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the portable chime unit.

3. Insert 3 x C batteries (LR14, not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-) inside the compartment.

5.2. Installing Battery in the Push Button

1. The CR2032 battery is typically pre-installed. If not, open the push button casing (usually by gently prying it open with a small screwdriver).

The push button is designed for outdoor use and can be mounted using screws or the provided adhesive pad.

2. ניצן סקרוז: Mark the desired drilling points, drill pilot holes, and secure the push button base with the provided screws. Snap the front cover back on.
3. Using Adhesive Pad: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive pad and firmly press the push button onto the surface for at least 30 seconds.
4. Ensure the push button is mounted vertically for optimal performance.

5.4. Pairing (Automatic Learning)

The Byron BYR301 features automatic learning. Typically, the push button and chime unit are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, or if you are adding another push button, follow these steps:

1. Ensure both the chime unit and push button have fresh batteries installed.
2. Press and hold the pairing button (refer to the chime unit diagram for location, usually a small button or switch) on the chime unit until it emits a short sound or its indicator light flashes.
3. Within 10 seconds, press the wireless push button. The chime unit should sound, indicating successful pairing.
4. Test the connection by pressing the push button. The chime unit should sound.

The chime unit offers 8 different melodies. To change the melody:

• Locate the melody selection button on the chime unit (refer to Figure 4.1).
• Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies. The chime unit will play each melody as you select it.

6.2. אַדזשאַסטינג באַנד

The chime unit has 4 volume levels. To adjust the volume:

• Locate the volume control button on the chime unit (refer to Figure 4.1).
• Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the volume levels (low, medium, high, extra loud).
• Stop pressing when you reach your desired volume level.

6.3. Using the Flashing Light

The chime unit features an optional flashing light for a visual alert.

• The flashing light activates automatically when the chime sounds.
• There is typically no separate control for the flashing light; it operates in conjunction with the chime.
