4. Compatibility (Tube Kit Selection)

To ensure proper function and durability, select the appropriate tube kit based on your pool size and solar cover weight:

• For Standard Weight Covers:
  • Pools up to 12 feet across: Use 3-inch tube kit 51120.
  • Pools up to 16 feet across: Use 3-inch tube kit 51160.
  • Pools up to 20 feet across: Use 3-inch tube kit 51200.
  • Pools up to 24 feet across: Use 3-inch tube kit 51240.
• For Heavy-Weight Covers:
  • Pools up to 16 feet across: Use 4-inch tube kit 51164.
  • Pools up to 20 feet across: Use 4-inch tube kit 51204.
  • Pools up to 28 feet across: Use 4-inch tube kit 51284.

1. Assemble the Tube Kit: If your tube kit comes in sections, connect them according to the tube kit's specific instructions to achieve the desired length for your pool.
2. Attach Reel Ends: Securely attach the solar reel mechanisms (end supports) to each end of the assembled tube kit using the provided hardware. Ensure they are tightly fastened.
3. Mount the System: Position the assembled reel system at one end of your above-ground pool. The socket-mountable design allows for easy placement on the pool's top rail or deck, depending on your pool's structure.
4. Attach Straps to Tube: Fasten the provided straps to the tube kit at regular intervals. These straps will connect the solar cover to the reel.
5. Connect Solar Cover: Lay your solar cover flat on the pool surface. Attach the clips on the straps to the edge of your solar cover. Ensure even spacing and secure attachment to prevent tearing or uneven rolling.

• To Deploy the Solar Cover: Gently pull the leading edge of the solar cover across the pool surface. The reel system will unwind, allowing the cover to spread out. Guide the cover to ensure it lays flat and covers the entire pool surface.
• After rolling up the cover, you can detach the reel system from the pool edge and move it to a storage area if desired, thanks to its portable design (if applicable to your specific tube kit with wheels).
