Thank you for choosing the Codelocks CL1005 Standard Vertical Cabinet Lock. This keyless digital lock provides secure access for cabinets and lockers. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your lock.

The CL1005 lock is designed for easy installation and can serve as a quick retrofit for existing cam locks or for new installations on units without a lock. It fits doors up to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) thick and features a 5/8 inch (15.8 mm) threaded barrel.

3. Secure Lock Body: From the inside of the cabinet, place the mounting plate over the threaded barrel and secure it with the provided nut. Tighten firmly.
4. Install Cam: Attach the appropriate cam to the back of the lock mechanism using the provided screw. Ensure the cam rotates freely and engages with the cabinet frame when locked.

Battery Failure Override:

In case of battery failure, the lock can be temporarily powered using a 9V battery. Locate the two contact points (LEDs) on the front of the lock. Apply the 9V battery across these points (positive to positive, negative to negative). While holding the 9V battery in place, enter the Master Code to open the lock. Replace the internal AAA batteries immediately after gaining access.
