5. סעטאַפּ
5.1 באַטעריע אינסטאַלאַציע און טשאַרדזשינג
- ינסטאַלירן באַטערי: Align the battery with the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
- צוטשעפּען אַנטענע: Screw the antenna clockwise onto the connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight.
- טשאַרדזשינג:
- Connect the charger adapter to the desk charger.
- Place the walkie talkie into the desk charger.
- Ensure the charging indicator light on the charger illuminates, indicating proper connection and charging.
- Charge the battery fully before first use (typically 4-5 hours).

- Rotate the Power/VOL knob clockwise to turn on the radio.

6. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס
6.1 גרונטלעכע קאָמוניקאַציע
- Select Channel/Frequency: Use the Up/Down arrow buttons or the keypad to select your desired channel or frequency.
- צווייענדיק פּטט פֿונקציע: The UV-82 features two PTT buttons. The upper PTT button transmits on the A-band (upper display line), and the lower PTT button transmits on the B-band (lower display line). This allows for simultaneous communication on two different frequencies or channels.
- יבערשיקן: Press and hold the appropriate PTT button to transmit. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.
- באַקומען: The radio will automatically receive signals on the selected frequency/channel when the PTT button is not pressed.
6.2 Frequency Modulation Methods
The UV-82 offers flexible programming options:
- Manual VFO Mode Programming:
- Press the "VFO/MR" button to switch into Frequency (VFO) mode.
- Input the desired frequency directly using the keypad.
- Select CTCSS/DCS tones as needed via the menu.
- Store the frequency and settings into a memory channel.

- צווייענדיק סטאַנדביי: The radio can monitor two different frequencies (A/B bands) simultaneously. If a signal is received on either band, the radio will switch to that band.
- VOX (Voice Operated Transmit): Enables hands-free operation. The radio will transmit automatically when it detects your voice. VOX sensitivity can be adjusted from 0 to 9 grades via the menu.
