Using In-Pot Browning (Sear/Sauté):

The in-pot browning feature allows you to sear meats or sauté vegetables directly in the cooking pot before slow cooking, eliminating the need for an extra pan.

1. Add a small amount of cooking oil to the removable pot.
2. Select the 'Sear/Sauté' preset.
3. Allow the pot to preheat.
4. Add ingredients and brown as desired.
5. Once browning is complete, press Start/Stop to cancel the 'Sear/Sauté' function.
6. Proceed with adding other ingredients and selecting a slow cook or other desired preset.

1. Add approximately 1-2 cups of water or broth to the bottom of the removable cooking pot.

• Ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
