The BoxWave USB-C to A PortChanger is a compact adapter designed to convert a USB Type-C port into a standard USB Type-A port. This allows for connection of various USB Type-A devices to your USB Type-C enabled device, such as the Lypertek SoundFree S10. Your BoxWave USB-C to A PortChanger package includes:

  • Two (2) BoxWave USB-C to A PortChanger adapters.
  • Two (2) attached straps for portability.

The PortChanger is designed for simple plug-and-play functionality. No software installation is required.

  1. Identify the USB Type-C port on your device (e.g., Lypertek SoundFree S10 charging case, smartphone, tablet, or laptop).
  2. Insert the USB Type-C end of the PortChanger into your device's USB Type-C port. Ensure it is fully seated.
  3. Connect your desired USB Type-A peripheral (e.g., flash drive, mouse, keyboard, USB hub) into the USB Type-A port of the PortChanger.

The PortChanger facilitates various functions depending on the connected peripheral and the capabilities of your host device.

To transfer data between your device and a USB flash drive or external storage:

  1. Connect the PortChanger to your USB Type-C device.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive into the PortChanger's USB Type-A port.
  3. Your device should recognize the external storage. Navigate to your device's file manager or settings to access and transfer files.

5.2. Connecting Peripherals (Mouse, Keyboard, USB Hub)

To connect USB Type-A peripherals:

  1. Connect the PortChanger to your USB Type-C device.
  2. Plug your USB Type-A mouse, keyboard, or USB hub into the PortChanger's USB Type-A port.
  3. Your device should automatically detect and allow use of the connected peripheral. For USB hubs, you can connect multiple USB Type-A devices.
