Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided USB-C cable. A full charge typically takes approximately 12 hours. Ensure the camera is powered off during initial charging.

3.2 SIM Card Installation (Pre-installed)

The 4G LTE SIM card is pre-installed in the device. It includes 300MB of trial data. If you need to access or replace the SIM card, carefully open the rubber cover on the camera body to reveal the SIM card slot. Use the provided tweezers to insert or remove the SIM card. Ensure the camera is powered off before handling the SIM card.

3.3 App Download and Configuration

  1. Download the "Ubox" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).

The camera and solar panel are designed for outdoor installation. Choose a location that provides optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel and a clear view for the camera. The camera is IP66 waterproof and can operate in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 122°F.

  1. Attach the camera mounting bracket to your desired surface (e.g., wall, wooden post) using the provided screws and wall anchors.
  2. Slide the camera onto the mounted bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened.
