Thank you for choosing the ECD Germany 43L Electronic Safe. This safe is designed to provide secure storage for your valuables, including cash, jewelry, documents, and other important items. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Do not store emergency keys inside the safe. Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location outside the safe, accessible only to authorized individuals.
• Keep your PIN confidential. Do not share your personal identification number (PIN) with unauthorized persons.

4. סעטאַפּ און ייַנמאָנטירונג

4.1 באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג

1. געפינט די באַטעריע אָפּטייל אויף דער אינעווייניק פון דער זיכער טיר.
2. עפענען די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל דעקן.
3. אַרייַנלייגן 4 אַאַ באַטעריז, ינשורינג די ריכטיק פּאָולעראַטי (+/-).
4. נאָענט די דעקן פון די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל.

4.2 ערשטע פּין סעטאַפּ

Upon first use, or after battery replacement, you will need to set your personal PIN.

1. מיט דער זיכערער טיר אפן, געפינט דעם רויטן ריסעט קנעפל אויף דער אינעווייניקסטער זייט פון דער טיר, לעבן דעם שאַרניר.
2. דריק דעם רויטן ריסעט קנעפל. איר וועט הערן א ביפּ, און די געלע אינדיקאַטאָר ליכט אויף דער קלאַוויאַטור וועט זיך אָנצינדן.
3. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3 to 8 digit PIN on the keypad.
4. Confirm your PIN by pressing the "#" button. You will hear a confirmation beep.

4.3 אויפשטעלן דעם זיכערן

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided bolt anchors.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, such as a solid wall or floor.
2. Identify the pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom of the safe.
3. שטעלט דעם זיכערן אָרט און מאַרקירט די בויער־פונקטן דורך די פאַר־געבויערטע לעכער.
4. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.
5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the bolt anchors.
6. Tighten the bolt anchors securely to fasten the safe in place.

5. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס

5.1 Opening the Safe with PIN

1. Enter your 3 to 8 digit PIN on the keypad.
2. Press the "#" button. The green indicator light will illuminate.

The emergency key provides access if you forget your PIN or if the batteries are depleted.

1. Locate the concealed keyhole, usually behind the ECD Germany logo plate or a removable cover on the keypad.
2. שטעקט אריין דעם נויטפאַל שליסל אין שליסל לאָך און דרייט עס קעגן זייגער.
3. While holding the key turned, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
4. Remove the key once the door is open.

5.3 Changing the PIN

You can change your PIN at any time while the safe door is open.

1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button on the inside of the door.
2. The yellow indicator light will illuminate.
3. Enter your new 3 to 8 digit PIN.
4. Confirm your new PIN by pressing the "#" button.
5. Test the new PIN with the door open before closing.

6.1 באַטערי פאַרבייַט

When the batteries are low, the red indicator light on the keypad may flash or the safe may not respond. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

1. Open the safe using your PIN or the emergency key.
2. Locate and open the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
3. אַראָפּנעמען די אַלט באַטעריז און אַוועקוואַרפן זיי ריספּאַנסאַבלי.
4. Insert 4 new AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
5. נאָענט די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל.

6.2 רייניקונג

רייניקט די אויסערליכע זייט פון זיכער מיט א ווייכן, דamp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the powder-coated finish.

6.3 Internal Protection

The safe includes a protective felt mat on the inside to prevent scratches and damage to your valuables. Ensure this mat is properly placed. The removable intermediate shelf can be adjusted or removed to accommodate items of various sizes.

7. טראָובלעשאָאָטינג

• Safe does not open with PIN:
  - Ensure you are entering the correct PIN. Try again carefully.
  - Check if the batteries are low. Replace them if necessary.
  - Use the emergency key to open the safe.

  - Replace the batteries with new ones.
  - Ensure the battery compartment is closed securely.
• די טיר שליסט זיך נישט ריכטיג:
  - Check for any obstructions preventing the door from closing fully.
  - Ensure the locking bolts are retracted before attempting to close.
• Forgotten PIN:
  - Use the emergency key to open the safe.
  - Once open, reset the PIN using the red reset button as described in Section 4.2.
