The Modern Ember Smart Electric Insert combines aesthetic appeal with practical functionality. It features sleek pane glass for an unobstructed view of the flames and a realistic brick background. Control is available via the Tuya app, Wi-Fi, digital touch panel, remote control, or voice commands through Amazon Alexa. The thermostatic supplemental heater allows temperature adjustment between 64° and 82°F in 2° increments. Enjoy customizable ambiance with five flame colors, ten flame speeds, and ten brightness settings, complemented by a realistic resin log set. This insert heats spaces up to 400 square feet and can be operated year-round with or without heat. Installation options include plugging into a standard wall outlet or direct wiring.

The unit measures 9.39"D x 34.33"W x 26.44"H. For custom built-in installations, carefully measure your opening. Improper sizing is the most common reason for returns.

Installation for New Build-Outs

For new build-outs, a magnetic trim kit (sold separately) is essential. This kit ensures proper ventilation and airflow around the unit, creating a seamless, gap-free finish. The wall and surrounding structure do not need to be load-bearing. Trim kits are available in 3-sided and 4-sided configurations.

Installation for Existing Fireplace Openings

For existing fireplace openings, simply place the insert into the opening and plug it into any standard 120V outlet. For a polished, built-in look, the Uptown Magnetic Trim Kit (sold separately) can cover any gaps, available in 3-sided and 4-sided configurations. The wall and surrounding structure do not need to be load-bearing.

Modern Ember warrants to the original purchaser that its electric fireplaces are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for two (2) years from the date of purchase. Modern Ember will provide replacement parts or reimburse verified repair costs based on industry labor rates. Replacement parts are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. This warranty applies only to products from authorized dealers and installed per provided guidelines. It excludes damage from misuse, improper installation, cosmetic wear, shipping, environmental exposure, or unauthorized parts. The warranty is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase.
