- Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water. If necessary, use a soft brush to gently remove any stubborn deposits.
- Ensure the filter is completely dry before re-inserting it.
- Push the filter back into its slot until it clicks securely into place.

Limescale buildup, especially in hard water areas, can affect the kettle's performance and the taste of your water. Descale your kettle regularly.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of white vinegar and water (a 1:2 ratio is often effective) or use a commercially available descaling solution designed for kettles.
- Boil the mixture and then let it stand in the kettle for at least 30 minutes. For heavy limescale buildup, you may let it stand longer.
- Discard the descaling mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- To remove any residual taste or odor from the descaling agent, boil fresh water 2-3 times and discard it before using the kettle for beverages.
