The SpeedBox 3.1 is an E-Bike tuning kit designed to remove the speed limit of your pedelec, allowing you to experience the full power of your e-bike. This product displays the actual speed and enables you to set a custom maximum speed, optimizing performance and riding enjoyment. It is meticulously engineered to provide unrestricted speeds, limited only by your pedaling cadence.

The SpeedBox 3.1 is compatible with specific Bafang Max Drive motors:

• Bafang Max Drive M300
• Bafang Max Drive M400
• Bafang Max Drive M420 (4 pin Connector)

The SpeedBox 3.1 is designed for straightforward installation using simple tools. Detailed instructions and videos are available to guide you through the process, making it suitable for home installation.

Pre-installation Requirement: If you are installing the SpeedBox on a brand new e-bike, it is crucial to ride the bike for at least 10 km before activating the chip for the first time. This ensures proper calibration and function.

The SpeedBox 3.1 is activated and deactivated directly from your e-bike display.

• אַקטאַוויישאַן: דרוק די ליכט קנעפּל אָדער די + - + - sequence on your e-bike display. The display will briefly show "99 km/h" to confirm activation. From this moment, you can ride at unrestricted speeds.
• דיאַקטיוויישאַן: דרוק די ליכט button again. The display will show "25 km/h", and the speed limit of 25 km/h will be reactivated. Your pedelec will then function as it did before the tuning was applied.

Some SpeedBox models, such as SpeedBox B tuning, can also connect to your mobile phone via Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor and record ride parameters through the SpeedBox app.

The SpeedBox 3.1 is designed to be maintenance-free. Ensure all connections remain secure and free from dirt or moisture. Regular cleaning of your e-bike, including the motor area, is recommended to prevent debris buildup around the installed chip.

• Incorrect Speed Display: Ensure the chip is properly activated as per the operating instructions. Check all cable connections for looseness.
• Motor Not Reaching Unlimited Speed: Verify compatibility with your specific Bafang motor model and display type (CAN vs. UART). Re-check installation steps.
