5.2 Operating System Installation (Optional)

The HUNSN RS52 supports various operating systems, including FreeBSD 5.10.x and higher kernel-based router systems, Linux distributions, and Windows OS (UEFI only). If your device did not come with a pre-installed OS, you will need to install one.

1. Prepare a bootable USB drive with your desired operating system installer.
2. Insert the USB drive into a USB port on the device.
3. Power on the device and press the appropriate key (usually DEL or F2) repeatedly to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup.
4. Navigate to the boot options and select your USB drive as the primary boot device.
5. Save changes and exit BIOS. The device will boot from the USB drive, allowing you to proceed with OS installation.
