If you encounter issues with your charger or batteries, refer to the following:

• Batteries not charging (Rapid Flashing LED):
  • Ensure the battery is a NiMH rechargeable type. The charger is not compatible with alkaline or other battery chemistries.
  • Check for correct battery polarity. Reinsert the battery, ensuring the '+' and '-' terminals align with the charger's markings.
  • The battery may be defective. Try charging a different NiMH battery to confirm charger functionality.
• Slow charging or reduced battery life:
  • Ensure the charger is plugged directly into a functional wall outlet.
  • Batteries have a limited number of charge cycles. If batteries are very old or have been recharged many times, their capacity may naturally decrease.
  • Ensure the batteries are fully discharged before recharging for optimal performance, though NiMH batteries do not suffer from a "memory effect" as severely as NiCd.
