Read all instructions carefully before using the scale. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.

1. For the Crane Scale: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the scale. Insert 3 AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

5.2 Attaching Shackle and Hook

The scale typically comes with the shackle and hook pre-attached. Ensure they are securely fastened and free from any obstructions or damage before use.

• צו מאַכט אויף: דרוק די ON/OFF button on the scale or the remote control. The display will light up and show the battery voltage before settling at zero.

6.2 Unit Conversion (lb/kg)

The scale supports weighing in both pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg).

• דרוק די UNIT button on the remote control to switch between 'lb' and 'kg'.
• The scale will retain the last selected unit even after being powered off and on again.

6.3 Tare / Zero Function

• נול: מיט קיין מאַסע אויף די קרוק, דריקן די נול button to set the display to zero. This is useful for ensuring accuracy before weighing.
• טאַרע: To weigh an item in a container, first hang the empty container on the hook. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to zero. Then, add the item to the container to weigh only the item's net weight.

6.4 Weighing Procedure

1. Ensure the scale is powered on and displays '0.0' in the desired unit (lb or kg). Use the נול קנעפּל אויב נייטיק.
2. Carefully attach the item to be weighed to the scale's hook. Ensure the load is stable and not swinging.
