Thank you for choosing the Atlanta Grand Radio-Controlled Analog Alarm Clock, Model 1843/0. This alarm clock combines classic analog design with modern radio-controlled timekeeping for precise accuracy. It features an easy-to-read dial, automatic time adjustment, a crescendo alarm, snooze function, and dial illumination. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

Familiarize yourself with the components of your alarm clock:
פיגורע 1: פראָנט View. Shows the large, easy-to-read analog dial with hour, minute, and alarm hands. The 'Atlanta' logo and 'RADIO CONTROL' indicator are visible.

- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 3).
- Insert one (1) AA/LR6 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -).

After inserting the battery, the clock will automatically attempt to receive the radio time signal. This process may take a few minutes. Once the signal is received, the clock will set itself to the correct time, including automatic adjustment for daylight saving time (summer/winter time).
- Place the clock near a window for better signal reception.
- Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference.
5.3 Manual Time Setting (If Radio Signal Unavailable)
If a radio signal is not available (e.g., during travel or in areas with poor reception), you can set the time manually:
- Press and hold the 'SET' button on the back of the clock.
- While holding 'SET', rotate the time setting knob (usually located near the 'SET' button) to adjust the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Release the 'SET' button when the correct time is displayed.

- Rotate this knob to move the small alarm hand to your desired wake-up time.

6.3 Crescendo Alarm Function
When the alarm is activated, the alarm sound (beep) will start softly and gradually increase in intensity and frequency, ensuring a gentle wake-up that becomes more insistent if not turned off.

6.5 Dial Illumination
To temporarily illuminate the clock face in the dark:
- Press the large button on the top of the clock (labeled 'SNOOZE/LIGHT').
- The dial will light up for a few seconds, allowing you to read the time (refer to Figure 4).
- The hour and minute hands also feature luminous material for visibility in low light conditions.
