Before first use, ensure your Walabot DIY 2 is fully charged using the provided USB Type-C cable. The device features a built-in rechargeable battery that won't drain your phone's power.

1. Download the "Walabot DIY" app from the App Store (iPhone users) or Google Play Store (Android users) onto your smartphone.
2. Launch the app and follow the in-app setup screens to pair your phone to the Walabot DIY 2 using Wi-Fi.
3. Calibrate the device by placing it firmly against a clear wall and following the on-screen instructions to move it in a circular motion until calibration is complete.
