ייַנמאָנטירונג פון באַטאַרייע:

The TOTAL TMT46004 requires batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

1. זיכער מאַכן אַז דער מעטער איז אויסגעלאָשן.
2. געפינט דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל אויף דער הינטערשטער זייט פונעם מעטער.
3. ניצן אַ שרויפנ - ציער צו עפענען די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל.
4. Insert new batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
5. נאָענט די דעקן פון די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל סיקיורלי.

פֿאַר וואָלtage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity measurements, connect the test leads:

• שטעקט אריין דעם שווארצן טעסט דראָט אין דעם 'COM' (געמיינזאם) אינפוט דזשעק.
• Insert the red test lead into the 'VKΩHz' input jack for most measurements.

Before any measurement, ensure the meter is clean and the test leads are in good condition.

Measuring AC/DC Current (Clamp):

1. Turn the rotary switch to the '600A' position for AC or DC current measurement.
2. Press the trigger to open the current clamp.

1. Connect the test leads as described in the 'Connecting Test Leads' section.
2. Turn the rotary switch to the 'V∼' for AC voltage אדער 'V—' פאר DC באַנדtage.

2. Connect the test leads.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the 'Ω' position.
4. Touch the test probes across the component or circuit to be measured.
5. לייענט דעם קעגנשטעל ווערט אויפן LCD עקראַן.

קאָנטינויטי טעסט:

1. זיכער מאַכן אַז די קרייַז איז דע-ענערדזשייזד.
2. Connect the test leads.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the 'KΩHz' position and select continuity if necessary.
4. באַרירט די טעסט פּראָובז אַריבער דעם קרייַז אָדער קאָמפּאָנענט.
5. א קאנטינעווירלעכער ביפּ ווײַזט אָן קאנטינעויטעט (נידעריקער קעגנשטעל).

נאַן-קאָנטאַקט חלקtagE (NCV) דעטעקשאַן:

1. Turn the rotary switch to the 'NCV' position.
2. Move the top part of the meter near a live conductor.
3. The meter will emit an audible beep and/or visual indication if AC voltage איז דיטעקטאַד.
