The MD2801B kit is constructed from durable aluminum and features multiple mounting options. The female V-dock includes two 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attachment to various camera accessories. The male V-lock has three M3 holes, allowing it to serve as a replacement for the original V-lock on a V-mount battery.

5.1 Attaching the Female V-Dock to Your Rig
- Identify the desired mounting location on your camera cage, monitor frame, or shoulder pad mount.
- Align the two 1/4"-20 captive screws on the Female V-Dock with the corresponding threaded holes on your rig.
- Use the included spanner (Allen wrench) to tighten the screws until the Female V-Dock is securely fastened.
5.2 Attaching the Male V-Lock to Your Accessory
The Male V-Lock can be attached to your V-mount accessory or used to replace an existing V-lock on a V-mount battery using its three M3 holes. Ensure compatibility with your accessory's mounting pattern.

6.1 Attaching a V-Mount Accessory
- Ensure the Female V-Dock is securely mounted to your rig.
- Align the Male V-Lock (attached to your V-mount accessory/battery) with the Female V-Dock.
- Slide the Male V-Lock into the Female V-Dock until it clicks into place. The integrated protruding portions ensure a secure, twist-free fit.
6.2 Detaching a V-Mount Accessory
- Locate the red quick-release lever on the side of the Female V-Dock.
- Press and hold the red quick-release lever.
- While holding the lever, slide the V-mount accessory upwards to detach it from the Female V-Dock.

- Clean the assembly kit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check all screws for tightness and re-tighten if necessary.
