4.1 Camera Installation Position Options

The camera can be positioned either on the bottom side of the trunk lid or on the face side of the rear trunk lid. It can be mounted using double-sided adhesive tape or by drilling into the deck lid with short sheet metal screws. Disassembly of the camera mounting bracket may be necessary depending on the chosen mounting location.

• Backup Camera Mode: When connected to the reverse lamp trigger, the camera automatically activates and displays the rear view on your monitor when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
• Front Camera Mode: When configured for front view and connected to an ACC/IGN output, the camera can be activated manually or through a compatible head unit to display the front view.
