This device is designed to provide precise temperature control for electric heating systems, including baseboard, fan-forced, and radiant electric heaters, with the added convenience of WiFi connectivity for remote management.

Wiring Instructions (Single Pole, 3-Wire):

1. קער אַוועק מאַכט: Locate the circuit breaker controlling your heating system and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltagE tester.

4. Connect New Thermostat:
   • Connect the two line wires (L1, L2) from the power source to the thermostat's designated line terminals.
   • Connect the load wire to the thermostat's designated load terminal.

Setup: Hoot Smart Phone App & WiFi Connection

The Hoot thermostat connects to your home WiFi network (2.4GHz only) to enable remote control and programming via the Hoot smartphone app.

  • Check if the thermostat is in "Off" mode or "Vacation" mode.
  • Verify the heating system itself is functioning correctly.

  • Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network.
  • Ensure your smartphone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup.
  • Move the thermostat closer to the WiFi router if possible, or consider a WiFi extender.
  • Restart your router and the thermostat (by cycling power at the breaker).
  • Re-attempt the WiFi pairing process through the Hoot app.
