Fuse Replacement

The ITECH IT6720 power supply is equipped with a replaceable fuse for protection against overcurrent. If the unit fails to power on or experiences unexpected shutdowns, the fuse may need replacement. The fuse holder is located on the rear panel, near the AC power input.

  1. דיסקאַנעקט מאַכט: Ensure the power supply is completely disconnected from the AC mains before attempting any maintenance.
  2. Locate Fuse Holder: Identify the fuse holder on the rear panel (refer to Figure 3). It is typically a small, cylindrical cap that can be twisted or pulled out.
  3. אַראָפּנעמען אַלטע פיוז: Use a small flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail to gently pry open or twist the fuse holder cap. Carefully remove the old fuse.
  4. Check Fuse Rating: The required fuse rating is printed on the rear panel near the fuse holder. For 110V AC operation, the fuse is typically 3.15A/250V. For 220V AC operation, it is 1.5A/250V. Always replace with a fuse of the exact same type and rating.
  5. Insert New Fuse: Place the new fuse into the fuse holder cap and reinsert it into the power supply, ensuring it is securely seated.
  6. רעקאָננעקט מאַכט: Reconnect the power supply to the AC mains and test its operation.

Note: If the fuse blows repeatedly, there may be an underlying issue with the unit or your electrical setup. Contact technical support for assistance.

טראָובלעשאָאָטינג

  • אַפּאַראַט טוט זיך נישט אָן:
    1. Check if the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the AC outlet.
    2. Verify the power switch on the rear panel is in the ON position.
    3. Inspect the fuse on the rear panel. If blown, replace it with a fuse of the correct rating (refer to Maintenance section).
  • קיין רעזולטאַט וואָלtagE/קראַנט:
    1. Ensure the output ON/OFF button on the front panel is enabled.
    2. Check if any protection indicators (OCP, OVP, OTP) are lit. If so, resolve the overload/overvoltage/overtemperature condition and reset the unit.
    3. באַשטעטיקן אַז די וואָלtage and current settings are not set to zero.
  • Difficulty with user interface/modes:
The IT6720 uses a single control knob with multiple modes. Refer to the detailed user manual (PDF link provided in product documents) for a comprehensive explanation of each mode (Mode A, B, C, D) and how to navigate them using the 'Shift' and 'Setup' buttons. Practice adjusting values in different modes to become familiar with the interface.
